    Where is the biggest foosball tournament this weekend?? That is up for debate with the Austin Start Up Games going on right now!

  What did I see?? Foosball, beer pong, even a torch! AWESOME!! The crowds are large and everyone is having a blast. Entry is $10 for each person and that includes many donated items... such as beer. That's right! Beer is included with each person's entry. Playing or spectating. Sound fun?

     This is the third year for the Austin Start Up Games, held at the Austin Music Hall. The Austin Start Up Games combines 9 sports in a fun atmosphere and team environment. The turnout out last year looked incredible judging from the large crowds in the video. What began with 8 teams from various start up business two years ago, has now swelled to 16 teams! Each  Team is representing a charity of their choosing. All competitiors are competing  for coveted Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals. All while having fun, and raising money for charity! The top 3 teams overall will have all the money raised from the event divided among their represented charity.

     Last year's winners in the Foosball event were the team from SpareFoot.com. SpareFoot reached out to Inside Foos's Jim Stevens for some foosball insight to help them repeat as Gold medalist. Great Interview with the top Fooscaster, World Champion, and Hall of Fame member Jim Stevens.

    This event is raising money for multiple charities while bringing together the Austin Start Up business community. What a great inclusion of foosball and other games into a great event! 12:30-1:30 – Athlete Registration
1:45-2:00 – Opening Ceremonies (Out front of Austin Music Hall)
2:00-End – Ping Pong, Darts, Shuffleboard & Foosball
3:00-End – Connect 4 & Beer Pong
3:30-End – Pop-a-Shot
4:00-End - Trivia
4:15-End – Flip Cup
5:30-End – Mystery Event
Immediately After Mystery Event – Awards Ceremony

   Good Luck to Matt Schexnayder and team SpareFoot in their quest to repeat their gold medal performance from last year's games! I hope everyone has a blast. Judging the atmosphere from the video, I have a feeling everyone is going to have a blast! Warms my hear to see foosball incorporated into such a cool event. Would be great to see this replicated in other cities. FOOS ON!!
